Every dog carries a story,
My job is to turn that personality into a photograph you will remember forever.
My name is Meir Gur, a dog photographer based in Israel.
My journey into dog photography began with my first dog, Kesem. What started as a personal fascination quickly grew into a deep passion that shaped my life and career.
Today I travel across Europe photographing dogs, leading workshops, and sharing my vision of dog photography with photographers and dog lovers from around the world.
Most of the magic happens one moment before I click.
In my photography, I focus on creating the image in-camera through light, composition, and connection with the dog - rather than relying heavily on editing afterward.
This approach allows the final photographs to feel natural, powerful, and authentic.
For me, a photoshoot is not only about the final image, but about the experience itself. The dog, the owner, and the moment we create together.
