WORKSHOP IN THE NETHERLANDS 2023
7-8.10.2023
Saturday-Sunday
This fall I will be coming to Amsterdam to perform a cool and special workshop!
ABOUT ME
My name is Meir Gur.
I'm a dog photographer from Israel, and I am 36 years old.
You will probably never believe it but if I saw a dog on the street 8 years ago, I would first cross to the other side of the road, and then climb the tallest tree I can find.
My ex-gf begged me to adopt a dog, and after a lot of convincing efforts, we adopted Kesem, my GSD. I fell in love with her so much that after only two months we've added a new member to the pack, a Belgian Malinois puppy - Arrow.
On one of our walks with the dogs, my ex's dad let me try out a camera he had lying around in the warehouse, a Canon 60D, and here I am today with you.
Since 2016 I have been photographing dogs full-time in Israel and since 2019 also in several destinations in Europe
I have been performing dog photography workshops in Israel, and since 2021 I am also teaching the photography for beginners course in one of the most famous photography schools in Israel, focusing on the basic principals of photography.
Basically, since the first time I've started photoshooting, I'm considering myself as "unemployed", because every day I get up to do what I love most - and this just doesn't feel like working at all.
